How we describe condition

Every listing grades two things: the car and its packaging. These are the words we use and exactly what they mean. Any flaw we mention will be in the photos.

The car

Mint
Flawless. Never displayed, or out of the box only for photos.
Excellent
May have been displayed. Any tiny imperfection is named in the listing and shown in the photos.
Good
Visible wear, like light scuffs or minor decal lift. All parts present, and every flaw photographed.

The packaging

Like new
Clean, sharp corners, no fading.
Light wear
Minor rubbing on corners or edges.
Moderate wear
Creases, small tears or fading, each described specifically.
Heavy wear / no box
Major damage, or the car is loose.

What we always call out

Missing or broken parts, decal lift, paint chips, box tears and creases, sun fading, price stickers or writing on the box, and missing inserts or certificates. If a car is signed, we say whether it has a certificate of authenticity and who issued it.
